South Korea RX Running Robot

Japan has always been at the forefront in terms of developing sophisticated robots. Honda’s Asimo is currently the fastest running robot clocking at 3 kilometers per hour. Of late, South Korea too has joined the robot bandwagon and it has caught up fast with Japan despite small amounts of funds. Robotis RX was developed by South Korea with a small budget and can run roughly 500 meters an hour which is 1/6 speed of Asimo. The robot is build with structures like lego blocks meaning it can be transformed to other types. The software is empowered by outsourced software and upgraded from outside network. |
